BabyMood

Privacy-first baby cry monitoring, processed on your iPhone.

BabyMood is a gentle on-device baby cry monitor designed for parents who want simple, private, and supportive cry monitoring.

Unlike traditional baby monitors that focus on live audio or video streaming, BabyMood processes audio locally on your iPhone while the app is open. It detects crying patterns, can play gentle soothing sounds, and keeps structured cry logs on your device.

Key Features

  • On-device baby cry detection
  • Gentle soothing sounds: white noise, rain, heartbeat, and lullaby
  • Possible hunger signal for parental reference
  • Local cry session logs
  • No raw audio saved during normal use
  • No audio uploaded to the cloud
  • Simple privacy-first design

How BabyMood Works

BabyMood uses your iPhone microphone only while monitoring is active. Audio is processed on-device to detect crying patterns. When crying is detected, BabyMood can automatically play a selected soothing sound.

If BabyMood detects a possible hunger signal, it plays a gentle cue for parents and reminds you to check feeding first.

BabyMood is designed to support parents, not replace them. Crying reasons are estimates and should always be interpreted together with parental judgment.

Important Medical Disclaimer

BabyMood is not a medical device.

BabyMood does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. Possible crying reasons, including possible hunger signals, are auxiliary estimates for parental reference only. They should not replace professional medical advice, pediatric consultation, or parental judgment.

If you are concerned about your baby's health, feeding, breathing, fever, persistent crying, or any urgent condition, please contact a qualified medical professional or emergency services.
